Have A “fantastic Fall” At Westfield Sunrise With Free Westfield Family Fun Days For Toddlers September 12, 2012

On September 12th at 11 a.m., kids will read about a mouse that goes to school in the book “If You Take a Mouse to School” by Laura Numeroff, and then kids will go on an adventure with the modern classic “Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale” by Mo Willems. To get in the spirit of Knuffle Bunny, kids will make their very own sock puppet.

Join us on September 26th at 4 p.m., as kids read about the beautiful autumn leaves, apple picking and going on hayrides at the county fair in “Let It Fall” by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. In “Crazy Hair Day” by Barney Saltzberg, kids will learn about acceptance as they read about a hair-raising school situation that Stanley Birdbaum experiences. Kids will also make their own fall nature collecting jar, and enjoy a snack.
