Haunted House Family Fun Day October 30, 2009

Join in the fun on the spookiest day of the year at Maritime Greenwich’s infamously haunted house.

The beautiful Queen’s House will be full of ghostly excitement for all the family with story-telling, workshops, performances, music and much, much more. Dress in ghoulish costume to enjoy a fantastic day out in unique surroundings.

Prizes will be given for best costumes. All participants will receive a certificate to say that they survived the Haunted House!

Spooky Sounds and Stories
11.30–13.30, 14.00–16.00
Spooky music and story-telling for little ones.
Age: Suitable for age 5 and under.

Ghastly Masks
11.30–16.00
Make a ghastly mask of a witch, a devil or a ghostly spook, for the Zombie dance.
Age: Suitable for all ages.

Phantom Paintings and Portraits
11.30–16.00
Use portraits from the Queen's House to make a portrait with spookily moving eyes.
Age: Suitable for 4+.

Zombie dance
11.45–12.20, 12.25–13.00, 13.25–14.00, 14.05–14.40, 14.45–15.20
Join in the dance sessions and learn how to do the moves from Michael Jackson's ‘Thriller’. NB: Limited availability, please book a session on arrival at the Queen’s House. Comfortable shoes must be worn.

Ghost encounters
11.30–13.00, 13.30–14.30 | 12.00–13.30, 14.00–15.00 | 13.00–14.30, 15.00–16.00
Find a ghost who will tell of some of the mysterious hauntings in the Queen’s House.
