Hats Off To Charity - Queen For A Day - Sons Of Hermann Hall January 16, 2009

This is a benefit for The Soupmobile. The Soupmobile is a non-profit mobile soup kitchen feeding the homeless in greater Dallas. The entertainment for the night will feature The Queen tribute band "Queen For A Day". Admission will be $10 per person plus a donation of a non-perishable food item or $15 per person. Extra food items, blankets, clothing, etc are appreciated. This will be a theme party (and the theme is "Hats Off To Charity" Put on that hat you heve been wanting to wear but didn't have the right event and come out and party for a good cause. Sons Of Hermann Hall is a great venue. There is a full bar downstairs with a pool table, shuffleboard table and the band will play in the upstairs hall. If you've never been it's a great place so come out hear a great band and have some fun for a good cause. I am also working on items for a raffle so if you have something you would like to donate I would be glad to take it. We are also planning on having a local restaurant provide food to sell. Hopefully we can make this an ongoing event featuring local bands and other types of entertainment. I do have The Backsliders, another great Dallas band scheduled for April. VERY IMPORTANT...I NEED FOR PEOPLE PLANNING ON ATTENDING TO RSVP....
