Best known for his slice-of-life comic book series, American Splendor, HARVEY PEKAR achieved fame by writing about his own everyman existence. Now he?s found the everyman for a new generation of graphic novel readers.

Enter Michael Malice--a slight unintimidating young man who never really stood out in a crowd. Michael grew up in Brooklyn, went to college, then got a string of nowhere temp jobs. The future wasn?t too bright for Michael--until the day he met Harvey Pekar in a restaurant and Harvey decided to do a story on him. Since then, things have turned around considerably.
