Harvest Hike October 10, 2009

Join Colin Brown, New Canaan Nature Center Environmental Educator for a trip to the Berkshire Mountains to discover all that fall has to offer. The day will begin in Sheffield, MA at Mountain Falls Farm, a NCNC friend's organic farm that is under restoration. We will hike to the summit of Race Mountain via the Appalacian Trail for lunch and incredible views of the fall foliage. Upon our return, we will have a guided exploration of the farm's fields, pastures, gardens and streams. This will be a true New England autumn adventure!
