Come celebrate the fall season October 9th and 10th, 2010, at Bothell’s Country Village! The festival will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Stroll the grounds decorated with corn stalks, scarecrows and pumpkins. Valentine’s Performing Pigs will be on stage at 1:00 pm Saturday.
Paint a pumpkin! Pumpkins, paints and prize included. You can also enter a Scarecrow Making Contest. Old clothing, straw for stuffing, and heads are provided while supplies last. This activity is free if you leave the scarecrow at Country Village for the contest, or $15.00 if you take it home. The person who builds the best scarecrow wins a $100 gift certificate valid at any Country Village shop or restaurant! The contest runs through the weekend of October 10 & 11, and the winner will be chosen the following week. The festivities will also include one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans, the original King’s Kettle Korn, and more! Pony rides, train rides, face painting and other entertainment will be available for a nominal fee.
