Harvest Art Walk Featuring Emilia Garcia October 25, 2009

Emilia Garcia's art focuses on women, family, and the beauty of Latin Culture. Garcia was raised by her grandparents on a ranch in Piru. She left the corporate world to pursue art full time following her grandmother's death in 1996. Her Latina heritage is evident in, not only her art, but who she is and how she presents herself. Her art has been, most noticeably, exhibited in the 2005 Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy. Ventura's Harvest Art Walk is an opportunity to enjoy local restaurants and stores while you see and/or buy art.
