Harvest 2009 : Ctrl + Alt + Del - Part II. Based on Mumbai terror blast, Wake up and do something is curated by Amit Kumar Jain and will have contemporary works in digital art, photography, abstract and sculpture. Artists include Vibha Galhotra, G R Iranna, Farhad Husain etc.HARVEST, the much awaited annual art affair put together by Payal Kapoor of Arushi Arts will be held this year from 30th July 12th August at The Stainless Gallery. Part II is curated by Amit Kumar Jain from August 6 will be based on the Mumbai terror blasts and will have contemporary works in digital art, photography, abstract and sculpture.The artists who will showcase their works in part 2 from August 6 and will showcase works on Mumbai terror attack are: Atul Bhalla, Anay Mann, Surekha, Rupa paul, George Martin, Roy Thomas, Riyas Komu, Vivek Vilasini, Tejal Shah, Faisal Anwar, Sohan Jakhar, Shilpa Gupta, Gigi Scaria, Sanjay Verma, Sid Kary, Joydip Sengupta, Snehashish Maity , Dimple shah, Arun Kumar HG, G R Iranna, Farhad Husain, Arbind Kumar Singh, BM Kamath, Karan Khanna, Zaryan Patel, Gautam Dutta, Ravi Aggarwal, swapna Biswas, Saptarshi Naskar, Mousumi Biswas, Krishna Murari, Danielle Buetti, Rajiba Lochan Pani, Venkat Bothsa, Vibha Galhotra, Kuldip sharma, Jeetinder Ojha, RajashriThe exhibition looks at the act of terror and the new voice of India. It will narrate the entire episode starting with understanding the minds of the killer to the trauma of the people. From those who rise as heroes in such moments to the ones who will lead this country and the change that follows.This exhibition also salutes individuality, which has created change. Examples like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Mother Teresa, who have lead by example to bring a change around them.
