Every year on the second Saturday after Labor day, the Harvard vs. Yale Charity Polo Match is held at Greenwich Polo Club amidst the splendor of some of the most beautiful scenery on the East Coast.
For New Yorkers, the day can begin at Grand Central Station with the 12:07 pm Polo Express to Greenwich. After a brief shuttle ride through the countryside, guests will arrive at a reception on the Polo Grounds at Conyers Farm. Following a buffet luncheon, the alumni polo match commences. The afternoon includes a silent auction and musical entertainment. Following the match a reception will be hosted at the Brooks Brothers on Greenwich Avenue. The festivities continue again later that evening in New York City?s trendy Meat Packing District.
The event is in support of the Charity Network of New York City and its work to help promote and fund small charities serving disadvantaged youth. Learn more about Charity Network at www.cnnyc.org. For ticket information visit the event?s official web site at www.hypolo.com.
