On Monday, July 7, 2008, at 7 p.m., the Harvard Glee Club will perform at Christ Church Cathedral in the Glee Club's first St. Louis appearance in nearly a decade. As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, the Glee Club will enter the final week of its 2008 summer tour at the Cathedral, performing a unique blend of Renaissance motets, traditional folk songs and contemporary choral repertoire.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students with ID and seniors age 65 and older. Founded in 1858, the Harvard Glee Club is the oldest college choir in the United States and considered by many to be this country's premier collegiate men's chorus.
