Join twice nominated Grammy artist William Eaton for a presentation of his career as musician and instrument maker. Acknowledged as one of the worlds great designers of guitars, harp guitars and stringed instruments of his own creation, Eaton will perform on several of his instruments and present a slide show documenting his three decades of luthier work. From quantum physics and string theory to the one string shamans bow Eaton will give an overview of his explorations into the origins and evolution of stringed instruments. As a composer Eaton has written for chamber orchestra, world fusion ensembles, and solo works for his unique instruments. This concert will feature new music for double neck electric harp guitar as well as songs from his recordings with Canyon Records, a Phoenix-based, Native American label.
