Harlem Week Is Even Tastier Thanks To Its New Neighbor: Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar August 10, 2010

Harlem Week is getting even tastier again this year with the addition of its new neighbor: Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar. The restaurant, located on 125th Street and 5th Avenue, is gearing up for Harlem Week with a variety of events for every member of the family.

In advance of the opening of the Applebee’s at 125th & Fifth Avenue in Harlem Apple-Metro, the New York Metro Area’s Applebee’s franchisee, has shown their support of the community through participation in Harlem Week. In their third year of participation, they are proud to have their doors open to the community at the nation’s 2,000th Applebee’s which opened in December of 2009. The restaurant created nearly 200 new jobs for Harlemites, then got to know its new neighbors with a VIP Grand Opening Party, which raised money to benefit the Harlem Week Scholarship Fund/Grant program.

Almost a year later, Applebee’s is continuing to give back to its fellow residents. The restaurant now opens at 7AM to offer breakfast to the community until 11AM every day. Later this summer, Applebee’s will participate in fun-filled events for all ages during Harlem Week. Beginning August 10th, Applebee’s Harlem will be giving out prizes, discounts and freebies at the events below. Be sure to visit Applebee’s in Harlem for tickets to some of these events!
