New York, NY – May 15, 2009. “After years of designing for others, of specializing in daytime, evening, and cocktail dresses, it was time for something new”; say’s Shante. The bridal line made the most sense and it compliments the existing evening and cocktail lines.

The dresses may be straightforward, but attention is focused on small details; to coincide with the simple styles chosen by brides and bridesmaids today. Shante’s trend setting bridal wear will be unveil at the Harlem Weddings Bridal Show on Saturday, June 6, 2009. The River Room Restaurant open is doors at 12 noon to the public for an afternoon fill with trends, in addition to the unveiling of Shante’s bridal collection; the event features a make-up workshop by celebrity make-up artist Andrea Fearweather, wedding design showcase by JL Goodman Designs, and the debut of Pour Moi paring with wedding cake.
