Harlem of the West: Jazz, Bebop & Beatnik celebrates the heart of west coast music: San Francisco's Fillmore district. During the 40's through the early 60's the Fillmore district was home to 19 black owned clubs in a 20 square block area. Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong and Charlie Parker were just a few of the big talents to add their voices to the culture. This collection displays photos and memoribilia.
