The Harlem Ambassadors event will be a wonderful evening of family-friendly entertainment filled with basketball, music and fun. So bring your kids, grandma and grandpa. The game, featuring the Harlem Ambassadors against the Davis All-Stars will be held on Monday May 11 at the Davis High School New Gym from 7 to 9 pm. Tickets are only $7 (kids under 5 are free). Prior to the game, a barbecue dinner fundraiser and tailgate party will be held outside of the gym from 5 to 7 pm. During that time, the Fire Department (with an antique fire truck) and the Davis K9 unit will also be there, and your kids will definitely enjoy meeting them!
Who are the Harlem Ambassadors?
They are professional players, and similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, but co-ed. They provide an evening of fun entertainment. For more info on them, visit www.harlemambassadors.com.
Who are the Davis All-Stars?
International HouseāDavis is forming two basketball teams - one of local celebrities and one of local players - to go up against the mighty Harlem Ambassadors. The much anticipated list of Davis All-Star players and coaches currently includes (in random order):

Tickets are only $7 (with free admission for children under 5 with an adult ticket holder).

* Davis Awards & Watchworks, 716 Second Street, Davis (Hours: Tuesday to Friday 10 to 5:30; Saturday 10 to 5)
* St James Church Parish Office, 1275 B Street, Davis (Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30)

Cool, I'm glad that something like this is going to be in Davis. Sounds like it's gonna be lots of fun for my family and me....so I'm gonna buy me some tickets today!
