Harborwalk Sounds - Tiwa Savage July 19, 2007

The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) presents Harborwalk Sounds, a series of FREE concerts by Berklee students and alumni, outside on the Putnam Investments Plaza, overlooking Boston Harbor. Concerts take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Target Free Thursday nights. The Water Café will be open, and shows will be canceled in case of rain. Born in Nigeria and raised in London, Tiwa Savage is an R&B/soul singer known for her electric performances. Before coming to Berklee, she spent years honing her stage presence as a background vocalist for George Michael, Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, Kelly Clarkson, Sheila E, and others. Savage has also shared the stage with Sting, Destiny’s Child, Black Eyed Peas, and Robbie Williams. She just graduated from Berklee and will release a new album soon.
