Real Women Have Curves
See the play that has been lauded by critics as a postcard for the Latina immigrant experience, Real Women Have Curves. Set in a Los Angeles sewing factory, five Mexican-American women share the story of Ana, a young high school graduate who dreams of leaving the barrio to become a famous writer. Through powerful dialogue and poignant portraits of hard-working women, the play celebrates the physical beauty of full-figured women, the pride of multi-generational families and the threads of history that are sewn into each garment by the hands of these women. Real Women Have Curves is an empowering story for everyone.
