Hansel and Gretel….are going to Las Vegas!
This fully staged opera production, featuring Operatunity’s young opera students performing alongside professional opera singers and orchestra, will take a modern day twist to the classic story!
Journey with the famous pair as they travel through the desert, meeting a crazy cast of characters along the way…
A Reggae-loving Sandman, a fitness-crazed Socialite DewFairy, a glamorous, Casino-owning Witch (ala Sharon Stone), and more!
Starring internationally renowned operatic soprano, Andrea DelGiudice as “The Witch,” with direction and choreography by Dori Bryan (recently named Best Choreographer of 2006 by The Sun Times).
Under the Conduction of Elaine Smith Purcell, and also starring (in alphabetical order): Brian Ballard, Allison Leaheey, Caitlin McKay, Amy Mills, Jacque Wilson, and the Operatunity Performance Choir
