Come join us as Hanoverton steps back in time for the weekend! Stroll our tree-lined streets to shop our "peddlers", see a Civil War battle at 1:00pm, bring a lawn chair and enjoy a variety of entertainment with a mix of 1800s to modern day line dancers. Be a part of an 1800s church service at 8:00am, at the tent beside Spread Eagle Tavern.
Sunday features a new event for the children, a "Children's Fair", which was an event to help support the Civil War soliders. A roped off area in the Union Civil War camp, will accomadate the event, which includes toys and games of the Civil War era for the children to play with, an opportunity to purchase , candy, cookies, and children items of the era. Cost to enter is the same price the children paid in the 1860s, 5 cents. The fair will be open from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, a children's story time will be held from 11:30am-noon
