Hanging Basket Workshop May 24, 2011

LOCATION: Meet at 2444 Old Penitentiary Rd in the Guardhouse, across the road from the entrance to the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Please bring: gardening gloves and scissors or hand pruners. Gardening attire is suggested. Tired of seeing those wilted, dying and dried out baskets on your porch or patio? Do you want a gorgeous hanging basket that will thrive in the Boise weather? Come and learn how to artistically put together and take care of a large mixed basket of colorful materials appropriate for our summer weather. Choose either the sun or shade option when you register so we can have the right plant materials ready when you arrive. We will supply the correct container, potting mix, plants and "how to succeed" advice. Create a hanging basket that would generally retail for $45-$75. You will go home with a fertilized hanging basket along with watering instructions. Enjoy watching your basket grow into the fall!
