Pitch in with hands-on farm activities every Saturday and Sunday this winter, and see how farm life changes with the seasons! On Saturdays, learn about the life of a hen at Stone Barns and join us to collect freshly laid eggs. On Sundays, learn about the life cycle of plants and lend a hand in the Greenhouse to help the farm stay productive in the winter. Examples of winter gardening activities include harvesting carrots, pulling out a bed of greens and feeding it to the pigs, or planting seeds. Programs are appropriate for children ages 2 to 14; adults may accompany children free of charge.
