Hampshire Water Festival July 24, 2010

Take the plunge and enjoy water walking, live music and fantastic activities at the Hampshire Water Festival this weekend

Held on 24 and 25 July at Staunton Country Park the event celebrates all that's great about water.

Opening from 10am to 5pm on both days the festival will host street theatre, stage events, workshops, exhibitions, crafts and games all designed to increase public awareness of water issues

This year the Water Festival will be combined with two other events: StreetSport and the countdown to the London Olympics in 2012. StreetSport gives young people the chance to try out new sports, such as archery and boccia while the Olympic Open Weekend, London 2012, begins the national countdown to the games in two years' time.
