Old Salem is pleased to present a debut performance by opera star Valerie Nicolosi as she presents 'It Was a Dark and Spooky Song.' No matter how many times you hear it, Schubert's Lied 'The Erlking' is guaranteed to shorten your breathing and raise prickles on the back of your neck! Nicolosi has assembled a hauntingly beautiful selection representing the dark nights of history's greatest composers. The evening will also include some non-spooky songs by composers whose lives themselves were a little scary. This spine-tingling program is perfect for the "spooky" time of the year!
