Halloween Haven and Haunted House, Saturday and Sunday, October 27 & 28 is special at Flamingo Gardens because it is fun for small children. Dress everyone up in the Halloween best to join the Costume Parade and Tour beginning promptly at 11:30. Enjoy Story Time with the Good Witch at 12 noon with children's book author Laura Wyatt, and treats while supplies last. All children love the fun Haunted House open from 9:30-4:30, because it's "not too scary." Admission is $5 OFF $17 for those 12 and older, $3 OFF $8.50 for children 4-11, and children under 4 are free. Admission includes the gardens, wildlife exhibits, live Wildlife Encounter Shows at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30, tours of historic 1930s Wray Home from 10-2, as well as the costume parade, story time and the haunted house. A narrated 20-minute tour by tram is additional. Parking is always free. Lunch, snacks, smoothies and beverages are available for sale.
