Halloween Fright Night October 31, 2007

10:00am- Rated "G" Walt Disney Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie-- 5:00pm - Rated "PG-13" Skeleton Key (no ticket needed for this movie...walk-ups welcome w/limited seating).-- 8:00pm - Rated "R" The Exorcist-- This event provides a Safe Halloween outlet for young children, teenagers and adults by providing free movies for their entertainment. This event will also include: 10:00 showing provides free Child ID provided by the Citizen Services Unit of the Sheriff's Department, 9-1-1 Simulator, provided by the Crime Prevention Unit, that teaches kids how to dial, 9-1-1. In addition McGruff the crime dog will accompany the Crime Prevention Unit. 5:00 Showing G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training) and D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Programs provided by Bakersfield Police Department. An informational table will be designated for each organization so they can give out information to the community and allow the public the opportunity to learn more about these organizations. The public will also get a chance to talk to and interact with local law enforcement in these fields. Another benefit is that children who are accompanied by a parent or guardian will receive Child ID Cards. We will also have a DJ Booth, magic tricks, balloon animals & card tricks.
Admission is Free with ticket. Movie tickets will be available: First week of October.
