Known as the "Furniture Capital of the World," High Point has always been a city of entrepreneurs, pace setters and individuals with dreams who have the vision to make them happen. The Museum's Hall of Commerce showcases local businesses that represent the strong presence of the entrepreneurial spirit that still thrives in High Point, ranging from the company that makes the big yellow school buses to the company that introduced furniture for the office cubicle.
