Hal Holbrook comes to Sacramento's Community Center Theater on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 8:00pm in Mark Twain Tonight! – his acclaimed one-man show which celebrates the humor, satirical wit, and timeless observations of Mark Twain.
Hal Holbrook has been bringing the unique humor and wit of the celebrated American author in Mark Twain Tonight for nearly 50 years. Seeing Holbrook as Twain is more than watching a master craftsman at the top of his art. The actor has lived the role for so long, honed it to such a fine edge, worn it so often like a second skin, that the act is practically organic. Holbrook understands Twain and through him one of the most unique minds of any age continues to flourish.

Absolutely wonderfur! He is so talented. I've seen him in this role three times, first in 1972 then 1975 and again in 2010. Each one different and even better that the last. I grew up reading the works of Mark Twain. I love Mark Twain. I adore Hal Holbrook! Thank you!
