This musical comedy by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, with lyrics and music by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, is based on the John Waters film of the same name. The work tells the story of Tracy Turnblad (a big girl with even bigger hair) as she attempts to dance her way onto TV's most popular show. Featured songs include, 'Good Morning Baltimore,' 'The Nicest Kids in Town,' 'It Takes Two' and 'Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now.'
