Hadoop Summit '09 June 10, 2009

Yahoo!’s second annual Hadoop Summit is on June 10, 2009 at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara, CA, USA.

This day-long event includes participants from Yahoo!’s Hadoop team, Amazon, Cloudera, Facebook, HP, IBM, Sun, and leading universities, and brings together leaders from the Hadoop developer and user communities.

Speakers will cover a rich variety of topics including the current state of Hadoop development and deployment, Amazon's Elastic MapReduce on-demand Hadoop cluster, PIG, Hive, Chukwa, and energy-efficiency with Hadoop. Space is limited and registration via EventBrite is required to attend.
