HABEAS CORPUS
Saturday, March 5th 7 to 9pm
an evening of outdoor video and performance
Moore Street between Bogart and White, Bushwick

Rogue Video and Performance invite you to an evening of outdoor video and performance for Site Festival 2011 in Bushwick. Combining video and live performance, Habeas Corpus, an outdoor curated event, explores the possibilities inherent in using the body as an artistic medium. Curators Jeanne Brasile, Charles Estes and Jade Lien envision the event as a curatorial remedy to free artists from the confines of the space of the gallery. It also promotes the immediacy and unlimited potential that only the body, the most innate medium of all, can provide.

Featured artists include; BroLab Collective, Jones and Roa, Greg Leshé, Tara Raye Russo, Giuseppe Satta, Nyugen Smith and Bryan M. Wilson. Each of the participating artists were selected based upon their commitment to public performance. The one night only event takes place on March 5th near 250 Moore Street in Bushwick. The location is easily accessible via the Morgan Street stop on the L Train.
