So what the Fripp is Haak-MacNab?

Haak-MacNab is a Euro-American gumbo of drums and strings that explores the progressive possibilities in rock, funk and jazz. Haak-MacNab’s songs are funky powergrooves with something for everyone and the band is composed of touch-style Megatar virtuoso, Dino Haak and drummer Doc MacNab. Haak-MacNab's sound features tight, refreshingly feel-good hooks, a powerful symphonic feel and jazzy, emotional grooves in a setting that has both players taking on the roles of players and singers.

Haak-MacNab strikes an uplifting chord by not ranting, whining or complaining about what is messed up in this world, but rather, by laughing at it. These guys are a duo that sounds like something much larger. Discmakers described them as “a herd of elephants coming right at you.”
