Haak-MacNab is a Seattle-based Euro-American rock duo. There may be only two of them, but according to Discmakers, the sound is “like a herd of wild elephants coming right at you.” You won’t find sampling or any pre-recorded music in their performances.
After a show—somewhere—someone in the audience described the music as the lovechild of System of a Down, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, King Crimson, and George Clinton. Funky, power-grooves featuring tight, feel-dash hooks with a symphonic kick.
