Program: H1N1 - Information and Preparation: Is your agency prepared for H1N1 cases in our area?
Join us at the next CSC meeting to hear from Stephenie Grimes, Madison County Health Department.
She will be sharing general information about the H1N1 virus, as well as helping agencies determine if they are
prepared with a plan if there is an outbreak. This plan would include guidelines for both staff/agency and for clients, in the case of an outbreak.
Speaker:
Stephenie Grimes began her public health career in 1996 at the Madison County Health Department as an HIV Counselor. In addition, she has held several positions at the department; Disease Intervention Specialist, covering fourteen counties in Indiana, tobacco/smoking cessation and as a health educator in WIC (Women, Infants, & Children). Currently she fulfills the Public Health Preparedness Coordinator role. She has served in this capacity for nearly six years; writing, maintaining, exercising plans and responding to various public health emergencies. Steph is a hazardous materials technician on the Madison County Hazardous Materials team. She serves on numerous committees and chairs the Madison County Citizens Corps Council.

Lunch will be provided for $5, thanks to the Food Services at United Faith Housing.
