GYPSY! March 13, 2009

In song and dance, Gypsy tells the story of Mama Rose and her daughters as they travel the USA taking their vaudeville act from city to city. When June, the extroverted, talented sister tires of her mother's smothering pushiness, she runs away with a dancer, leaving the shy Louise to continue the act in a fading vaudeville industry. Eventually, with no venues left, Louise begins performing in a burlesque house, where she takes an unexpected step towards stardom.
