Gustavo Galvan's exhibit features eleven wearable structures made from a variety of found materials, such as deconstructed plastic bottles, shopping bags, gold leaf and some intricate weavings by hand. The artist's goal is to change the way these materials are understood, repurposing and reusing them as components of an artistic design. The finished pieces emphasize the beauty and aesthetic potential of everyday materials.
