David Gurteen, Founder, Gurteen Knowledge
KM UK Award Winner
Lifetime achievement award for services to KM

For the first time, David Gurteen will bring this open forum that is designed to give you the means to conceive and manage successful KM projects by:

•Focusing your KM projects on critical business outcomes
•Thinking for yourself about KM and avoiding the many pitfalls
•Selling your KM projects to senior management
•Getting buy-in and engagement from people in your organization

About the open interactive forum:

This is a time to take advantage of being able to focus on your challenges and needs in

presenting KM within your organisation. It will be about 'action' - on getting things done -

on 'business outcomes' - on the practical and pragmatic - not the theoretical.

When you sign up, you will have the opportunity submit what you are looking to have

addressed on driving KM and the hurdles you have to overcome.

During the forum, David will then work through some of the most common challenges that the

participants have submitted.
Also, it is not just about learning in the traditional sense but about gaining support and

inspiration from other participants and building confidence to tackle often seemingly

insurmountable challenges.

You should be aware that the forum will not focus on KM tools or techniques but on how to

ensure that your KM projects are successful.
