Gulf Islands Film and Television School, (GIFTS) is having a Gala/Awards/Dinner Anniversary Party evening, Sunday, June 19th at The Croatian Cultural Center June 19th. June 19, 2005

Guest Speakers including GIFTS staff and industry professionals such as Velcrow Ripper (Scared Sacred), Jennifer Abbott (A Cow At My Table/The Corporation), Nettie Wild (A Place Called Chiapas/Fix) and key note speakers such as Diana Wilson (Being Caribou/100% Woman) and more.

4PM - 6PM The 2005 Eyelens Film and Video Festival will premiere at 4pm. This festival is a FREE EVENT showcasing the winning films of the 10th Annual Eyelens Festival. Over 185 NEW productions from the 2004 season were judged and the results are in.

6PM - 7:30pm Dinner and Awards will follow; starting at 6pm, sit down and enjoy a fantastic meal. The official awards of the Eyelens Festival and the Peoples Choice Award will be presented during dinner.

7:30pm - Late Get ready to party! Silent Auction, Viewing Booths, Guest Speakers, Photo and History Galleries and Awards Ceremony.Entertainment for the evening will include Randy Bachman and his daughter Calianne Bachman, Semi-Louise and The Impossible Machine. Furthermore, the venue will include Live Visuals Installations from ?2legs? visuals (Suez Holland), Art Installations, and a few special secrets we have yet to release!!!
