Guitar Great Richard Smith In Concert May 17, 2010

El Paso Community College is proud to present renowned guitarist Richard Smith. The concert takes place Monday, May 17 at 7:00pm in the Auditorium of the Administrative Services Center, 9050 Viscount Blvd., Building A. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for students, EPCC faculty, military and seniors. Tickets are available at the door the night of the event or in advance at any EPCC cashier. Net proceeds of the concert will benefit EPCC music scholarships.
Richard Smith hails from England and was discovered at the age of 11 by Country Music Hall of Fame guitarist Chet Atkins. Richard is now based in Nashville, Tennessee and is considered one of the world’s greatest fingerstyle guitarists. He has toured the world with an unbelievable range from country, bluegrass, jazz, pop, rock and classical guitar. In 2001, he was named the National Fingerstyle Champion.
