Guitar Driven Psychedelic Rock @ Hotel Utah! May 2, 2008

Get ready for a night of Rock music that you won't soon forget! Some of the best Bay Area guitar players will be featured amongst the 4 live bands performing this night.

Matadon whips up 70s psychedelic jams and gritty experimental jazz rock with an underlying pop sensibility and some hippie flavoring. Multi media shows and dance enducing tracks have made their shows worth talking about.

The Privies are the result of what might happen if Neil Diamond, Angus Young, Michael Stipe of R.E.M. and Jim Morrison formed an all original new band in the 21st century. The Privies sound is filled with Rockabilly, Punk and Classic Rock influences all mashed up together.

The members of General Jones, a Bay Area Rock & Roll/Soul/Blues/Funk group create songs from the innermost recesses of their souls. Their live energy is young, timeless, vigorous and, above all else, FUN.

The Z-Trane Electric Band features Jeff Zittrain, formerly of Famous Last Words who is known for his passionate guitar work and literate songwriting. His chops show evidence of his having studied guitar with Bay Area masters "Juke Joint Johnny" Lumsdaine, Nina Gerber, and James Nash.
