Guild Group Show: Language in Art September 7, 2010

Artists are increasingly engaged in conversation with their viewers. Lecturing them, persuading them, cajoling. Trying to convince them to see the world as they see it themselves, or perhaps, as they would wish their admirers would see it. This juried Guild Group show will showcase the range of directions in which artists incorporate language into their art and seek to engage the viewer into this dialogue.
