Guided Canoe Tour September 10, 2011

Join a park interpreter at the visitor center for an introduction to canoeing. Immediately following, we will explore Mound Pond, used by the Plum Bayou Culture over 1,000 years ago. Learn how Native Americans used the plants and animals that make Mound Pond their home. No prior canoeing experience is necessary, but you should be comfortable around water. Families welcome. Reservations are required, as space is limited.
