On Saturdays through the fall, Light House Sustainable Building Centre is hosting its "Guest Expert" http://www.sustainablebuildingcentre.com/blog/jessica_woolliams_3 Series on Granville Island, in Vancouver. Each Saturday, between 2 and 4pm, a different green building professional will be available to answer sustainable building questions you might have.
This is free and open to the public.
Alan has 25 years experience in residential design and construction and 14 years experience in Cohousing and Eco Village Development. He is a regular presenter and guest speaker at many Community Development and Housing related seminars, workshops and programs. Alan is one of North America's foremost experts on cohousing and is co-founder of the U.S. based Cohousing Network and the Canadian Cohousing Network http://www.cohousing.ca. Alan was involved in the creation of WindSong Cohousing http://www.windsong.bc.ca in Langley, B.C., completed in 1996, where he now lives. Alan is currently working on the Yarrow Eco Village project and The Urban Green Cohousing project in North Delta.
