Guerrilla Queer Bar Takeover of College Inn Pub October 20, 2006

Ah, I love the smell of fifth-year senior in the morning! There's something about autumn that just gets the blood going. Maybe it's the chill in the air. Maybe its the first taste of rain. Maybe its the leaves turning bright gold and flame red and burnt orange. Or maybe its that tingly, happy, scared, queer feeling of the start of school! Anticipation can be a mighty high (not to mention aphrodesiac). Now that fall is underway, now that the streets and buses and parks and watering holes have swelled with the return of scholars, jocks, singer-songwriters, artists, future business moguls, slackers, freaks, and geeks, now that campuses all across the city are a-hum with another kind of tingly, happy, scared, queer feeling (National Coming Out Day was just last week, after all!), it's time to show some school spirit! Rah, rah, rah! Go, team, go! Drink, drink, drink! For our next mission, we will descend (figuratively and literally) upon the College Inn Pub, located in the bustly heart of the University District. Don't forget to bring your "fake" ID -- mine says I'm still 21, of course!
