Guerrilla Gardening planning meet March 29, 2007

The Calgary Culture-Jammers are preparing for another adventerous season of guerrilla gardening.

We welcome people dedicated to organic gardening—particularly food crops—who are eager to join us in our efforts to transform the urban landscape.

Guerrilla gardening is a form of protest and direct action. It typically targets abandoned, under-utilized, or misused, land or sites—usually in urban settings. The gardeners "take over" the sites by developing or enhancing the soil and planting food crops, flowers or even trees.

This meeting will be for planning this year's guerrilla gardening actions.

Please bring ideas for garden locations!
