Being a native Washingtonian, I am very excited about going to this event. I hope they have an exhibit of Glen Echo Park.
I remember back in the 50's when Glen Echo would open up either in March or April. No sooner was it open, than I urged or for the lack of a better word insisted that my parents take my sisters and myself there.
My mom went there back in the 40's on the streetcar with her father and as a teen to the ballroom for an evening of dancing with her date and friends and also to the fantastic swimming pool.

Those were the days my friends. . .
