Walkaround Grover and Elmo from 'Sesame Street' visit the National Museum of Play at the Strong "in person" to greet guests at a 'Shalom Sesame' Launch Party in honor of the newly-updated 'Shalom Sesame' home-video series, produced by the nonprofit educational organization Sesame Workshop. The Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and Sesame Workshop have chosen the National Museum of Play as a site to premiere Shalom Sesame's 'Chanukah: The Missing Menorah,' the latest installment of the 11 DVD collection. See special showings of 'Chanukah: The Missing Menorah' featuring new songs and stories with the loveable friends from 'Sesame Street' and 'Rechov Sumsum' at 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m. Bring canned food to help build a community "canorah"--a giant menorah made of cans! After the event, the food will be donated to the Brighton Food Cupboard and Foodlink. Enjoy festive music from the Rochester Jewish Community Youth Choir at 2:40 and 3:40 p.m. and play dreidel games.
