Group for mothers with young children - Whitefish ParentShare September 18, 2008

The Nurturing Center sponsors ParentShare, a birth to five support group that brings together mothers with young children to talk about the joys and challenges of being a parent. ParentShare provides an opportunity to connect with other parents who share similar interests and concerns.

September 2008

11th - Bike, walk or ride the Fish Trails bike path to City Beach. Meet at 11am at the Bagel Shop across from Markus Foods and bring a lunch!

18th - Meet at the Kiddie Park at 11am for some good old-fashioned playground fun!

24th - Moms - let's meet for appetizers from 4:30-6:00pm at the Whitefish Lake Lodge. Get home in time for dinner or stay later if you so desire.

25th - Bowling! Let's meet at Pin-n-Cue at 11am for a game for the kids.

October 2008

2nd - Let the kids loose at the Stumptown Art Studio. We'll arrange an art project. Meet at the studio at 11am.

8th - Momma Time - Get the creative juices flowing in anticipation of the holidays. Sign up beforehand for this great class and come away with a piece of jewelry or other pretty item that you made yourself! Call 862-5929 to sign up.

9th - We'll have a guest speaker discuss child development and the stages of each year of development from ages 1-5. Meet at the church at 11am.

16th - Meet at the Pumpkin Patch at 11am!

21st - Momma Time - Let's meet at Copperleaf Chocolat to taste test some chocolate (or ice cream), from 5:00-6:30pm.

23rd - Walk and crafts Meet at Christine's house at 11am for a leaf walk and craft. (109 Cougar Trail, Happy Valley, 862-1158).

30th - Halloween Party Wear your Halloween costume! Meet at the church at 11am for a party!
