'Griots t' Garage' by Dennis Rollins takes us on a musical journey inspired by the African Diaspora. Starting with the long-established traditional cultures of 16th century West Africa, Rollins documents the path of peoples and time through music of African origin. It begins with the songs of field hands and continues through blues, jazz through samba, soul and reggae, to the funky, urban hip-hop and garage grooves of today.
