'Greener Grasses' is a serious comedy that deals with "Post Traumatic Slave Disorder," and is set simultaneously in two centuries; a southern slave plantation and a contemporary urban neighborhood. It examines some of the African American community's most self-destructive behaviors and the relationship of those behaviors to the American historical situation, all with a provocative and often politically incorrect humor.
