GreenDevCamp Logo!
GreenDevCamp is being planned for the weekend before Earth Day 2008 at Green Building Exchange in Redwood City, CA.
Over the weekend prior to International Earth Day, we are gathering technologists and enthusiasts together to talk about the following:
* How can companies, big and small, make their operations, code, practices, etc. more sustainable?
* In what ways can technology make our lives more green?
We will learn about as well as actually pitch in to develop technology and plans to do this (hence, the "Dev" part). We want to bring together developers, business people, designers, activists and concerned citizens to start conversations and projects that are committed to a more sustainable world.
The cost is free, but we are always looking for donations.

It can't be an all night camp out event so let's figure out if we want to do one day or two, with same or different emphasis, focused on ideating, exploring, producing and launching technology and practices aimed at Green Technology and Policies. TransitCampBayArea can be a model.
